Historical Backround, written on the certificate (included in purchase)

The Reunification of the two divided States, West Germany and East Germany (which was under Russian occupation since 1945) took place in Fall of 1990. It is officially referred to as the “Deutsche Wiedervereinigung” (Reunification of Germany) and has been celebrated since then each year on October 3rd. 

 This magnificent stein has been hand-crafted from German clay by use of century-old traditions to honor the courage of hundreds of thousands of people who fearlessly and tirelessly marched in the streets of East Germany 30 Years ago exclaiming “Wir sind ein Volk” (We are One Nation) and “Deutschland einig Vaterland” (Germany is our united Fatherland), and also in gratitude for America’s continuous support and protection of West Germany throughout these years. This Certificate confirms that you have purchased Stein Number xxx of this handcrafted  World-Wide Limited Edition of only 1,000 pieces. 

 This is certified by Mr. Johannes Guenster, President of the KING-WERK Stein Company located in Germany
